My Project

This school year will be my first year teaching high school US History. I'm super excited and I have already begun to plan out our year, which includes engaging hands-on instructional activities. My new classroom is empty so I will need to re-stock supplies to implement all the activities I have planned for my high schoolers.

Along with basic office supplies, like a new stapler and pencil sharpener, we'll need materials like index cards, sticky notes, and chart paper for class activities.

Chart paper will be used for class/student-made anchor charts and station activities. Index cards and sticky notes are great for summarizing information. Dry erase boards are a good way for students to show what they've learned and dry erase pockets are a good tool for annotating reading passages. The colored pencils and markers will be used for coloring maps and annotating.

All the supplies and materials will definitely be put to good use in my classroom!
