My Project

It is a long day for my 5- and 6-year-olds to have to be at school learning. We have the earliest lunch, making for a very long afternoon of hungry bellies.

These snacks will help provide a full stomach which will help my students' bodies and minds to stay engaged and focused for our full day of learning.

Due to Covid, our lunch schedule has changed to early in the day and we will need a midafternoon snack to get us through the day. These snacks will do just the job! While we are working throughout the day, I will provide students with a snack to keep them focused and engaged with learning.

The snacks range from chips to popcorn, to Pringles, and their favorite hot chips, which are all kid-friendly favorites.

I will use these as rewards to motivate them to finish their school/seatwork and then they will get to pick their snack choice. Individual snack packs will make passing out snacks easy, they will take their choice, and walk back to their individual desk to eat. It will make for an easy transition throughout our long day in person.

I also need Kleenex which is a huge necessity in kindergarten as we go through A LOT of tissues!
