My Project
I teach Kindergarten and First Grade Special Education students in a small rural area school district. My students strive every day to explore new ways to learn by sensory. My students would benefit from having a light table by learning how to independently explore the world around them, problem-solve, develop creativity, and refine conversational skills. It would promote learning in a different way by giving them more options to be creative in their own unique way. Another reason why a light table would benefit my classroom is by helping them with fine motor skills.
