Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As the school year draws to a close, we want to provide our students with the necessary tools and resources they need to finish strong and continue their educational journey with confidence.
To achieve this, we are launching an End-of-Year School Supplies Drive, focusing on essential items such as headphones, pencils, folders, and books.
Pencils: Pencils are the backbone of every classroom, empowering students to express their thoughts, solve problems, and create works of art. Unfortunately, many of our students come from disadvantaged backgrounds and struggle to afford even the basic supplies. By donating pencils, you will directly impact their ability to engage in class activities and complete assignments.
Folders: Folders play a crucial role in keeping our students organized and fostering a sense of ownership over their education. With your support, we can provide durable, colorful folders to help students keep their worksheets, projects, and important documents in one place. By teaching them organizational skills, we are instilling habits that will benefit them throughout their academic and professional lives.
Books: Books hold the power to transport students to different worlds, inspire their imagination, and expand their knowledge. We aim to provide our students with a carefully selected set of books, including popular titles like the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" book series. By donating these books, you can spark a love for reading, promote literacy, and provide students with an opportunity for intellectual growth outside the classroom.
