This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
While working in an urban school district it is difficult to get supplies for every student to ensure they have the opportunity to do learn multiple different ways. Next year I hope with the use of the table top write and wipe maps, is to offer students a more hands on way of learning history. I hope that this will give my students a visual learners an impactful way to connect to the topics I teach. The coloring supplies (colored pencils, crayons, and markers) will help then be able to color maps throughout the year.
