This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books and magazines will help my students connect to the world they live in through fascinating articles and stories. I see the importance of allowing students to choose from many different genres and platforms for informational text. Having these resources in my class will open up many opportunities for us to read and research. For example, the Scholastic Magazines will help my students connect to and learn about the animals we have in our own science lab. They also will open their minds to many new animals they have never seen or heard of.
