Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students have been focused on academics all year long, we have not been able to get to do any art yet this year! It's time to make art and most of my students have never used pastels or watercolors.
All students should have access to art.
My second-grade students have not created art because when they were in school in first and second grade, we had COVID protocols to not share supplies. Help me give my students the experience of creating different art with different art supplies other than colored pencils, markers, and crayons.
