This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love science! It has become their favorite part of the day. I want to provide my students with regular opportunities to bring science to LIFE! These materials would provide my students with real opportunities to experiment with science.

What better way to learn about plants and insects and their life cycles than to observe it first hand!

The insect and plant habitats would provide my Kindergarten students real life opportunity to observe, learn and engage in science as well as social studies (habitats) concepts being taught in a meaningful and fun way, all year long!
