I plan to use these different types of seating options for my students that really struggle staying in their seat. I have several students in class with ADHD who are constantly moving. In providing them with a wobble pad or chair, this can allow their body to continue to move without distracting the entire class. My students love coming to school and learning but often miss out on directions or turn in late assignments due to the inability to remain in their seat. This not only hinders their education but also distracts other students from hearing the directions or other important information. Although these tools will not completely solve the problem, they will help some of my busy bodies get their wiggles out in a less disruptive manner.
