Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our Speech and Language Pathologist is getting her own classroom space. She will be meeting with students to work on their Speech and Language goals. Her new space does not have usable wall space for posters or lessons. She is getting a magnetic whiteboard.
New books and materials will help spark student interest and engagement.
The new books will be housed in the library and used to supplement the SLP lessons. Students working on language use books to boost connections and learn from real authors. These materials will support our students in many ways!
