I love how empathetic, honest, understanding, and kind my students are to each other and to others in their community. They are always looking out for one another in different ways. They try to be their best selves every single day in and out of the classroom. They enjoy coloring and creating something new to help calm them when feeling overwhelmed or stressed. It is an important outlet for them to express themselves. They love making creations for other people because they know it makes others happy. Seeing them collaborate especially during engineering projects is my favorite time in the classroom. Art and engineering allow them to connect with another and step away from technology.
