Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a teacher, I am committed to creating a positive and comfortable learning environment for my students. One important aspect of this is ensuring that my students have access to cold and refreshing drinks throughout the day. Unfortunately, our classroom does not currently have a mini fridge, which means that our options are limited to warm water from the tap or drinks left outside in the hallway.
I am reaching out to you today to ask for your support in funding a mini fridge for our classroom.
With this appliance, we will be able to provide our students with a wider variety of beverages, including cold water, juice, and sports drinks. This will not only help keep our students hydrated and refreshed but also help them stay focused and engaged in their learning.
In addition to benefiting our students' health and well-being, a mini fridge would also provide educational opportunities. For example, we could use it to store and display science experiments or provide an opportunity for students to learn about food safety and proper storage techniques.
The total cost of the mini fridge may seem like a small amount, but as a public school, our budget is already stretched thin, and we simply do not have the funds to purchase this appliance on our own. That's why we are turning to donors like you to help make this project a reality.
In addition to the mini fridge I am excited to have a Tonie Audio box in the classroom as another way to incorporate technology into our daily practice.
