My Project
My students are absolutely amazing! Each of my students is a General Education Student first, and spends the majority of their school day participating in the classroom with their same-age peers. As a Learning Strategist Expert (formerly referred to as Special Education Teacher), I spend a lot of time, energy, and laminating sheets creating durable, reusable, and accessible materials for my students to meet each and every one of their individual needs!
Many of my students have demonstrated an incredible amount of growth this school year, thanks to the independent task drawer system used within their classrooms.
These independent task drawer carts are used to help the students to meet their individual goals and needs, in addition to making the grade level curriculum more accessible to them. This coming school year, I will be supporting all students in mixed small group instruction for math and reading; math manipulatives like Jumbo Unifix Cubes give my students access to safe materials to demonstrate their learning.
