This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love board games and working together. In this project I’ve asked for materials for rainy day recesses and missed specials, bins that fit perfectly in student desks, comfortable headphones, and class sets of two read alouds that students love.

My students hate when P.E is canceled!

Substitutes in our district can be very hard to come by, so when a P.E. or music is canceled students stay in the room with me. Instead of more time spent stuck at desks, I want to give students the opportunity for structured play and socializing — something they definitely missed out on during the pandemic.
