My Project
My students come from a variety of backgrounds and languages. Students who are proficient in English are learning Spanish and those proficient in Spanish are learning English. Some of my students have only been in the United States for a few years and have developed close bonds with one another in my class. This project will help my students engage with one another while having relaxing fun!
Monopoly, chess, and checkers will be bring hours of fun while developing needed social skills.
Students have expressed interest about having these board games available to them. These games will help develop language skills in a fun and relaxing atmosphere in class. I have noticed my students respond positively when they are involved in board games.
