Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flexible seating leads to the productivity of my students! I have noticed that when the kids feel like they have more control over their environment, i.e. decisions on where to sit, they have a sense of agency over their education. They take the freedom and comfort of flex seating and focus on the task at hand. During independent work times, centers, and partner time they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. The stools and floor seats that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices.
