As part of our school's Project Based Learning model, the 5th grade class has determined a need for our school and our community. Please help us create an outdoor classroom where students can learn and explore. They have spent the year planning what they need, how much it will cost, and writing a donation letter. This outdoor space will have tables for workspaces and raised garden beds where students can plant and cultivate herbs and flowers. This space will allow students to explore STEAM activities along with extending their learning environment. The sails and lights will allow students to work in this space all year long and allow the space to be used with our after-school programs. The ceramic tiles will be used to incorporate an art piece honoring our PNW indigenous peoples.

Hello, I am a 5th grader from RES and I am here to tell you about our project. Here at RES, we have been working on planning and developing an outdoor classroom and we need donations for materials. Our goal is to get enough donations to be able to make our outdoor classroom.
If you would please donate we would be very grateful. Some of the benefits of having our outdoor classroom are we could have better focus. The calming breeze would help us focus and also it won't be as loud which again will help us focus. Also, if we had an outdoor classroom, we could do more stuff. We could play outdoor games, we could do our work outside with fresh air and sunlight, and we could also do more activities such as science, writing, and reading because we would have more space.
