My Project
I teach fifteen 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students with special needs in a self-contained classroom. Many of our students come from low-income families and we want to assure that they go home with full bellies. Our students look forward to snack time at the same time every day. This part of the day calms the classroom and resets students who might need a little extra attention. Snacks give our students the fuel they need to focus on learning and to get through the day. We want our classroom to be an environment where the kids are excited to come and work hard. Thank you for your support in providing our classroom with the fuel they need to be successful.
