Donors Choose donors helped jump start our Lego club earlier this year and we are ever so grateful because without your help, we would not be in existence! The turnout has been greater than anticipated and we are in need of more legos! It's been such a sight to see the students build amazing creations and bonds! In a short time, a student that has not been on a physical campus since pre COVID 19 (that's 2.5 years) was able to transition back to school through this club, a student working on building relationships is thriving and helping to lead meetings, and students are meeting other students that they would have never connected with if there was no lego club.
Just like a typical academic classroom, there are differing needs within our group, and we are in need of actual themed Lego sets that can provide for more targeted and structured designs.
There are some students that have a harder time without the manuals and dedicated pieces and would really benefit from being able to have some direction so they can fully participate within the Lego Club.
Through your donation, we hope to continue to foster bonds, creativity, and inclusion within our newly established Lego Club.
