My Project

The PocketLab Air multi-sensors requested will allow my students to investigate the air quality in the community and produce research-quality results. Imagine measuring the air quality of the outdoors, the classroom, various lab set-ups, or tracking the changes throughout the year.

These air sensors will empower the students as citizen scientists by making climate change personal and involving students in gathering real-world information.

The sensors can collect data on many environmental factors such as carbon dioxide, particulate matter, ambient temperature, light intensity, humidity, and altitude. The collected data can be streamed in real-time to their Chromebooks, smartphone, or any other device. This data can be analyzed to make sense of climate science.
