6th Grade: Paint Pouring Experience

Help me give my students canvas packs, canvas panels and paint to complete their paint pouring project!

My Project

Throughout my teaching experience I have always given my 6th grade students the opportunity to create a piece of abstract art using the paint pour method. The process is messy, but oh so rewarding. The ambiguity of the project leaves the students on the edge wondering what their final project will look like when it's dry.

I always give my students a practice day before they move onto creating their final piece.

This will require more canvases, but happier kids. Because they have this day to practice, when they are able to start their larger canvas they are more confident and end up creating more successful pieces.

I have a lot of paint already, but we need more. The colors I have included here are colors that are essential (white), or colors that will be very popular with the students that I don't yet have.

There is nothing I love more than to see my students proud of the work they make in my class.
