Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are unique individuals, and I love getting to know each of their personalities and tailoring to their learning styles. My students are special to me because we are from a very rural area which allows me to be a part of their lives in school as well as outside of school. They make my heart smile when I see them light up with excitement when they see me at their church or at the store.

The desk, chairs, and materials will help create a learning atmosphere that reflects my students' individualities.

I truly believe that creating an environment that the students enjoy takes their learning experience to the next level. I teach 6th grade ELA and Social Studies and those two subjects require a lot of group work, collaborating with other students, independent reading, and studying. These items will create the vibe that the students need to inspire and motivate them to explore new knowledge.
