Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our 6th graders are going on a field trip for the first time. The students are very excited to go to SeaWorld. For many of my students, this will be the first time they leave Los Angeles County. As their counselor, I would like to make sure that all students have the necessary supplies on their first field trip. Additionally, I would not like to add any unnecessary burdens or concerns to our families. The drawstring bags will ensure that all students have a comfortable bag for the trip and no one is unable to carry their supplies. Additionally, the students have a long bus ahead of them. Many do not have adequate headphones. Providing headphones to all students will provide students with the opportunity to comfortably complete their work during the long bus ride. The lanyards will help us identify all our students who are on the trip as an added safety measure.
