Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our 6th graders are resilient! They have managed to make it through virtual learning, hybrid learning, their first year in middle school, and being back in person in two years! The 6th-grade teachers are planning an awesome athletic field day, which we've named Be Out Day!

The students will participate in water games, relays, team-building challenges, athletic games, and more!

We are barbecuing hot dogs and hamburgers for the kids and even have a local snow cone truck coming to give each student a free cone. All of the items we are requesting are for the games and help with the food preparation. The water balloons, sponges, water hose, and kiddie pool are all for the many water games we have planned.

Please help us make Be Out Day amazing and special for all our kiddos! We appreciate all donations, no matter how big or small!
