My Project

We have 42 amazing TK students at TCES! Our students are the youngest learners in our school. This is their first experience with school and we want them to get the most out of their experience by providing them with quality, hands-on learning materials.

Throughout the last few months, we have provided them with a variety of activities that work on motor skills, literacy, math, and social-emotional skills.

We would love to continue to provide these opportunities for our TK students but we are realizing we are in need of more supplies. In TK, we go through a lot of paint! Students will often choose the art station during free choice time. This is a very popular spot in our room. The bottles of paint that are requested in this grant will help us get through the next couple months of paint projects. Kwik Stix are also a fun item that students can choose during free choice. These materials allow the students to paint a masterpiece without the mess of paintbrushes. Of course, painting would not be possible without paper! There are several different types of paper that we would like to use for our art projects. A label maker will keep our supplies organized and accessible.

We look forward to providing these supplies for our TK students this year. They will truly love them!
