My Project
Our 4-5-year-old learners are always curious and love to learn through open-ended, hands-on sensory play activities. Light tables create lots of opportunities for sensory activities and learning that my students will be able to take advantage of. We have made our own light table, but now need the requested translucent and loose parts to use with our light table and make our sensory center complete.
The light table combined with the requested loose parts will encourage my students to develop a wide range of skills, such as fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and early math and literacy skills.
This open-ended exploration tool will be available daily for open play, academic learning, sensory integration, and science experimentation. This type of play encourages active social interaction, problem-solving, and emotional learning as my students learn to work together on projects.
Our class can't wait to start using our light table with these loose parts and benefit from the new exciting learning opportunities it provides. Our students will enjoy these tools for many years to come!
