My Project
I teach a special needs preschool class with students who need extra support with sensory processing and in physically and visually accessing classroom materials. Art projects are a wonderful way to involve my students in hands-on, meaningful learning. My students LOVE to participate in art and in doing so work on important skills such as fine motor coordination, communication, choice making, and pre-academic concepts including color shape and size.
This sturdy preschool-sized table, bright paint and easy-to-grasp brushes, crayons, markers and scissors will help create a classroom art center with engaging materials to boost student's access and independence in hands-on learning and fun.
