My Project

I have a classroom full of students that love to explore through multi-sensory play. We have playtime throughout our school day. Sensory play teaches children to refine motor skills, language, problem-solving and social interactions. Students will also fine-tune their fine motor skills. We received a light table to use during our daily playtime. We have been using Magna-tiles, 2-d shapes. However, we are looking to expand our learning accessories for the light table. Besides constructing with 2-d shapes, they would be able to use letters, numbers, 3-d shapes. Besides playtime, the table could be used during math and reading workshops.
