My Project
My students are voracious and curious readers. They look forward to independent reading times throughout the week, as well as story time with the whole class. To help further their curiosity, my goal is to build a classroom library that offers a glimpse into the past and introduces them to women who have made incredible contributions in science, medicine, art, literature, sports, and government.
Through their courage and determination, these women's accomplishments will show my students what is possible.
With these resources, we will begin working on a "women in history" research project. Together, we'll spend time learning about the many incredible women who have made discoveries, broken records, pushed past boundaries, and championed for their communities.
