Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every one remembers a favorite science teacher or experiment that stands out in their education. Those experiments always were enjoyable because they allowed you to manipulate variables and work together with your classmates. Sadly though, most students nowadays learn science with only online textbooks and worksheets that don’t allow them to actually practice the skills needed to retain the information. Or the Science curriculums school districts buy don’t really come with the materials needed for every science lab.

However, I don’t want this to be my students only experience with Science because they can be the future scientists our world needs.

This school year, I will be teaching fifth and sixth grade Science classes to 40 plus students. In order to best help my students learn the properties of Science, I’d love to help gain hands-on materials needed for our curriculum activities. All resources would be used for Science Soft-Start Morning Work bins, labs, daily work and even test prep! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
