My Project

In order to better prepare and teach my students the 5th-grade science curriculum, It is my hope to give them the opportunity to conduct and complete many hands-on science experiments. The resources in this list will enable them to complete science experiments in small groups and as individuals. Students will be able to learn concepts about physical and chemical changes, matter and its states, food webs, and the human impact on the environment. Students will also be able to conduct experiments about water distribution on planet earth, launch mini rockets as a result of a chemical reaction of two substances, and be able to utilize a math poster in their classroom to help them remember 5th grade math concepts. This will help students internalize the science concepts and allow them to see the science actually working in real life!
