My Students

I teach an amazing group of 5th graders in NYC. They are part of our school's Gifted and Talented program. They are bright, eager to learn, and love to be challenged! They get excited about new ideas, projects, and explorations!

My Project

Reading books together can be such an enriching experience! When students have the opportunity to read the same books as their friends, they can experience literature in a deeper, more fulfilling way. Watching students have genuine conversations about what they are reading is a real gift, to both me and the class. This project is about giving my students that gift! By contributing to the funding of this project, you would be helping foster a love of reading and creating connections between students that happen when discussing a great book!
