My Students

Our schools motto is "All our kids are all our kids". This could not be more true here in kindergarten at my school. I have a class of 24 amazing and intelligent kindergarteners, but truly I have 160 kindergarteners that I work with on a daily basis.

Each and everyone of my students has a background and a story to tell.

I have many students on free or reduced lunch which makes us a Title I school. I have students who live in an apartment with their 8 other siblings. I have students who speak little to no English. I have students who are only children. I have students who have never been to school, preschool or daycare before.

I am so grateful for all of my students and as their teacher I will work day in and day out to make their first experience of elementary school that best that it can possibly be.

My Project

These materials will help my students stay organized while at school. These supplies will also. provide my students with the ability to separate their supplies to prevent the spread of any germs. Each table will be provided with a caddie and each student will be given a specific spot for their supplies.

My students are so happy to be back in the classroom and share who they are with their peers.

The people shades will be used by my students to create a representation of themselves that they will share with the class.
