My Students

I teach a class of 32 creative, innovative, and hardworking fifth graders in San Ramon. My students are learning to be strong leaders, and develop personal responsibility inside the classroom and out.

My students love diving deeper into their learning with hands-on activities and engaging discovery opportunities that give them choice and responsibility in their education.

I incorporate a variety of different learning strategies, teaching methods, and seating options to make sure all of the needs of my students are being met.

My Project

In our classroom, we work every day to become better readers, and that begins by instilling the love of reading! Our class library is one of our favorite spots in the classroom, and my students are always searching for the next exciting book to read.

There have been so many great new releases recently, as well as recommendations from peers that my students are waiting eagerly to read, so this project would help bring many of those titles to our classroom.

With these books, we will be able to work on so many important reading skills that will not only help them in school, but in life as well.
