My Students
My students are creative, ambitious and ready to tackle any challenge that comes their way! They are students who LOVE the theatre. You can often hear them singing "Hamilton" as they enter the classroom. They are open minded, curious and energetic.
My Project
Our library is outdated! My students deserve to see themselves in the work we produce in class and onstage. We need a diverse selection of scenes, monologues and scripts for them to work with on a daily basis.
Each class has a scene study and monologue unit where I choose scripts for them. The scripts that I currently have don't represent the students in the room.
I'd like to offer more scripts for them to work with with but also to read for enjoyment and script analysis. In addition, I'd like to peruse these new scripts and maybe use them to mount a full production.
