My students are a very diverse group that comes from many different cultures, countries, and religions. They enjoy working in groups and learning about each other, and they especially like talking about topics of which they are knowledgeable.
Our school community really feels like a family to all of the staff and students.
I only know some of my students as of now because the school year hasn't begun yet, but the ones that I know from previous years in the school are eager learners and always ready to take in new information.
Our school is a neighborhood school, so my students come from the same community as each other in addition to myself. Many of them come from low-income homes with working parents, which will make remote learning a challenge.
My Project
Students spend so much time in front of their computers in the age of virtual learning, sometimes up to 5 hours with minimal breaks. Students should be working not only on virtual resources but paper resources as well.
Help my students step away from their computers and use paper and pen materials.
This will allow them to rest their eyes and they can do some math work on paper. It helps them be able to show me the steps they took in solving a problem, and I can see how they used the strategy.
