Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
I teach sixth graders in a Chicago Public School in the southwest side of the city. This year is off to a different type of start, but I am super excited to continue to keep my students engaged and thriving from home as well as those returning to our hybrid classroom. Because of the tools that I got from DonorsChoose.org, students demonstrated tremendous success last year despite the pandemic, and I have no doubts the same will be true this year.
The changing expectations for this school year mean that I need a few resources to make hybrid learning work for everyone.
Your support of a few special tools will be a tremendous help in making a smooth transition to hybrid learning.
My Project
We are now back in school, but I didn’t get the chance to buy some of the materials I would have normally gotten at the start of the school year. This has led me to not have some of the materials I would normally be able to provide students who are now back in the building. Please consider donating to provide these students the materials they need to thrive in a normal school setting. It would be very impactful for these students, and it would allow us to end the year strong!
