My Students
My students are from the South Side of Chicago. They understand the importance of having an education and how their success in high school influences their journey post-secondary education. They are also aware that they need the right tools to succeed beyond expectations. As their teacher, I want to be able to provide them a positive learning experience that will lead them to do great things in life, in the current moment, and beyond high school.
My Project
I have been very fortunate to create several projects through DonorsChoose that have been funded. These projects have been created with the intent to provide resources for my students such as printers, iPads, supplies, gift cards, etc.
These are all important resources that we want to protect while in school as well as when school is out for summer break.
By having a storage cabinet with a lock, my students and I can rest assure that the materials are in a safe place. A place we can confidently store until needed.
