This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are eager to learn, full of enthusiasm, and they love hands-on learning. My students are a blend of 4th and 5th graders who are extremely excited to learn and grow! They push me to be the best that I can be!
Most of my students have difficulty balancing their listening skills and their urge to move around and explore the classroom.
Our school is on the Westside of Chicago, and every day my students come to school ready to learn despite the challenges they may face outside of school! My students enjoy learning, and they work hard to defeat their challenges to continue to grow in our classroom, even from home.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my students' lives because they will allow us to use more hands-on technology in small groups and incentives. This will allow my students to engage in more technology and gain great STEM skills as we are working through this pandemic. My students thoroughly enjoy our small groups, and they enjoy being able to work with their hands. This iPad would allow them to work hands-on with the tech and stay engaged in the activities and lessons being taught. This would be a great addition to our class!
