Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, I know my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
All of my students will be beginning the year remote learning.
My students are eager to learn but will need some materials to help them stay engaged at home and help them learn to their fullest potential.
My Project
These news articles for current events, science, and math will allow the students to explore new material outside of their general education curriculum. These are a great resource for the students because for hybrid learning they are able to access them digitally or in-person with physical copies. This will meet the needs of diverse learners and general education students. These will allow the students to access news at their level and appropriate for their learning age. In addition, these news articles will allow the students to engage with each other during hybrid learning and create discussion groups and higher level thinking.
