"If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people together to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.”
― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
The students I teach are so excited to experience the process of making and creating art, the hardly notice they are becoming artists themselves. They are excited to learn new skills and experience materials that are new to them.
My Project
There are so many ways to make your mark in this world. Of course art class is the most fun place to go ahead and make your mark. But sometimes, it can be mundane to use the same 'ol same 'ol supplies day after day.
I want my students to make their mark with new and exciting materials, that they haven't experienced before.
Liquid watercolors are like nothing else… the colors are gorgeous! Smelly markers just bring out all the squeals and giggles in the art room, and the quick stix really help the littles color with satisfying results that builds their confidence! These materials are will help them explore innovate and new techniques and ideas to spark their imaginations.
