My kindergarten students are 5 and 6-year-old curious little learners with great big hearts. They have a pure love for everything around them. They love nature. They love school. They love exploring. They love reading. They love math. They love art. They love their families, and they love themselves. Through this, curiosity and love of life come a natural ability to learn and create.
My students deserve an amazing and fun ending to this very stressful and confusing school year.
They never gave up and worked so hard through all our struggles this year.
My Project
My students' end-of-the-year learning will become fun and engaging with these new classroom add ons. Our end of the year math units will focus on time and money and the power pens, cash registers, and clocks will help keep it engaging and fun. When we review addition and subtraction before sending them to 1st grade the addition and subtraction machines will help them focus and review with their extra minutes when they finish their work. The number lines will help my students that still need the numbers right near them to help with adding and subtracting and writing them correctly. These items will help make an exciting ending to our kindergarten year.
