Benito Juarez Community Academy (BJCA) needs your help! At the end of May, BJCA will be celebrating the Class of 2021’s Decision Day. This is the day where we acknowledge and highlight the colleges & postsecondary paths that seniors will be committing to beyond high school.
We hope to create a special event for our graduating seniors, especially in light of the pandemic that has disproportionately affected our community.
The Class of 2021 has adapted to remote and hybrid learning, missed out on traditional high school events, and faced hardships and personal losses along the way. In spite of it all, our seniors are resilient and have persevered through tough times.
My Project
During the last few years, BJCA students used laptops issued by the school to complete their coursework in order to graduate. However, after graduation, every student is required to return their laptop. As these seniors are about to embark on their postsecondary endeavors, they will be in need of the essential technology to continue on their paths -- technology that they currently have access to but will no longer be available to them after June.
Providing at least ten seniors with laptops will undoubtedly support the soon-to-be graduates in achieving their post secondary goals, while reminding them that their BJCA Familia is always cheering them on.

High school graduation is a huge milestone, and we hope to make the Class of 2021’s events even sweeter and more memorable by providing students the technology they need to continue their education beyond high school.
