My students are amazing. They are kind, compassionate, empathetic, and good. They advocated for better mental health supports at the high school level, even getting our state legislature involved. They saw a need in the communty and made us better.
My Project
These resources will help our student wellness room feel a little bit more cozy. By creating a space that is welcoming and comfortable, students are able to de-stress and refocus on school. With these bean bag chairs, students can sit and read Calvin and Hobbes, or play a game of cards. The tortilla throw blankets are a fun little callback to our Southwestern roots. The storage options allow for easy access to all of the amenities that the Wellness Room has to offer. I want to personally thank you for any help you can give.
