Help me give my students a robust classroom library and an iPad! When we return to in-person learning, I want my students to be excited to read. This collection is diverse, and intentionally curated.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Many of our students come from low-income backgrounds, but that doesn't get in the way of their goals.
They spend many hours after school during the week working towards learning goals in multiple classes. My students are high-energy, and naturally love work that keeps them engaged from start to finish.
My Project
Since our school does not have a central library, it is so important that I have a classroom library that meets the many needs of my students.
My students need to see themselves in the books they read to gain perspective, and to learn about the experiences of others.
My classroom library is used throughout the school year, from reading for enjoyment, to independent reading projects.
After a lot of research I decided that using an iPad to help organize circulation of books would be the best to get the most books into the most hands. Going through an authentic check-out process will keep our library organized, while also conveying to students that book collections should be highly respected.
