Help me give my students personal, consumable supplies. These are items that are not consistently supplied through our school district and required for our self-contained student population to be successful in school.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
I work with children, preschool through fifth grade, who have delays or disabilities that impact their ability to complete school-based activities. Children with motor impairments, sensory deficits, visual delays, and global delays are provided with 1:1, small group, and often classroom-based group intervention to address their needs and help to make them independent in their learning environment. We have now moved to remote and hybrid learning and these students will continue to work on their skills from home.
My students are special because they persevere and smile, even when things are hard.
They are funny, sweet, kind, and bring a smile to the faces that interact with them daily. They want to learn and participate in the same ways as their peers, and it is my job to help them accomplish those goals. In order to do that, they need equipment and supplies that work, are motivating, and can teach specific foundational skills that are then generalized to their academic needs.
My Project
Consumable supplies are those that are needed on a daily basis, by all students, to complete and participate in their educational environment. We often start the year with a stock in the teacher supply closet and then it is replenished through individual teachers or staff.
My students need individualized materials to support their fine motor and sensory motor needs.
These items often need to be trialed to determine if they are successful and cannot be used again once they have been used by a student. Therefore, it becomes a high cost for the staff trying to support. Replenishing the supply so that we can get the right tools into student hands immediately would be wonderful.
