90% of our 12th-grade senior class has applied to at least one college. They have been engaged remotely and have been seeking scholarships and submitting their Financial Aid Applications. One foundation of support has been snap camera filters, live music sets, and entertaining live screenings. The pandemic is not stopping college ambition for our seniors and the rest of our grade levels have bought in.
My Project
Working remotely has exploited my Macbook's ability to keep up with the streaming, Google meets and the ability to multitask and toggle different tabs. I am due back to resume my duties in school and my school monitor does not have the capacity to handle the pixels and refresh rate. It does not even have a webcam.
In an effort to celebrate upcoming 12th grade activities such as college decision day, award nights and live music sessions, a monitor and webcam will aid these efforts.
Coupled with my own personal Mac book I will be able to hurdle the aforementioned technology deficits and make my students stream a successful delivery.
