My Students
My students are high achievers who love to engage in discussion about science and the connections to the real world. We are located on the south side of Chicago and engaging with the environment is not always easy.
My students love to ask questions and often ask insightful ones that require some research outside of our curriculum.
They love to engage with technology, posting to our Google Classroom page, creating innovative digital products, and finding ways to research and explain their ideas.
They yearn to learn more and expand their worldview. Experiencing natural and built environments outside of our urban neighborhoods allows them to see new opportunities, problems, solutions, and careers!
My Project
In order to help both in-person and remote students as we transition to hybrid, I need a second monitor setup for my classroom. This will help me view students who are at home and work with them while teaching in person students at the same time.
Students learning at home will be able to still receive my attention as I project lessons to both sets of students.
Hybrid teaching does not seem like it will be simple, so I am looking for any tools to help make it easier for students and me!
