it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
The students I teach are a group of very special diverse learners. They are 3rd graders, but vary in ability from kindergarten to 3rd grade. They are each making progress at their own rate.
My students have disabilities that vary, but one thing they have in common is the motivation to try their very best!
They are motivated by creative teaching, the use of technology, and hands-on experiences in the classroom. They take pride in having classroom jobs and having success in their endeavors.
My Project
My students are very excited to be back in school and they were equally excited about the Dr. Seuss birthday celebrations that were going on a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, our classroom library has only a couple of books by Dr. Seuss.
We decided that Seuss books were something we really did need, and we could not, just could not, do without them to read!
Student interest is so important in getting them to read and instilling in them, a life-long love of reading. My students know letter sounds, can blend them together, and also some basic sight words. I know these Dr. Seuss books would give them the extra practice they need.
