Our students learn at a level 1+ neighborhood school. The students are inquisitive, funny, and supportive of one another. They often find joy in making real-world connections and are open-minded about different cultures, concepts, and ideas.
They are very excited about the world outside of high school and want to be better prepared to take on any challenge that is set before them.
My Project
These books will continue to enhance the diverse perspectives that I strive to create in my classes. It has always been important to me that students get to read novels about different cultures and experiences outside of their own.
With these books, the students can prepare for the IB assessments while reading the beautifully written words by Haruki Murakami.
Students will get the opportunity to discuss the search for one's identity, the value of friendship, and how war can change a person forever.
These books can be used for learning both in the classroom and at home.
